New Energy Technologies Inc (NENE)’s MotionPower is such an amazing breakthrough it could revolutionize the alternative energy industry as we know it!
The reason why I knew ethanol wouldn’t work and said to short and buy puts in PEIX back when it was near $40, before crashing to $0.20, was because ethanol requires 1 gallon of BTU input to produce 1.2 gallons of ethanol, compared to oil which takes just 1 barrel of oil to produce 5 or 10 barrels of oil.
Solar has been such an important energy breakthrough because the energy returned on energy invested (EROEI) ratio is 10:1 to 30:1.
I can’t imagine what the energy efficiency of NENE’s MotionPower will prove to be, because the power created comes from otherwise wasted car deceleration energy!
Previous kinetic energy companies actually stole energy from vehicles… because they required vehicles to accelerate over raises bumps to generate power. NENE’s MotionPower captures deceleration energy that would’ve been otherwise dissipated as heat!
